How can you help and support prayerfully Gerizim Children in a family set up

Since children of Gerizim are growing, their needs are also growing. When they were small their basic needs were less. Now we have to provide more food, bigger clothes, more school fees and also the cost of living is going higher and higher. Till today this service is totally depending on God and sincere friends and well wishers like you. More than 18 years have been completed by the grace of God in this service among handicapped children on 23rd August 2007. We could not find local foster parents for all these present 50% of our children under our care. Some of our foster parents are very carefully sending the children's fostership grant every month regularly. Others do not send regularly. The foster ship for supporting one normal child is Rs.1500/- per month and for one mentally retarded child is Rs.2000/- per month.

This amount is only sufficient to meet the basic needs of one child. Besides these children’s basic need we have to meet staff salary, water and electricity, electrical and plumbing repair work, building maintenance, telephone charges, occupational therapy maintenance, play materials, garden maintenance medical expenses etc. Therefore we prayerfully request those friends to kindly send their monthly contributions also regularly to meet these expenses. Please also request all your friends and relatives to pray for this Gerizim services and participate in all our programmes with generous contributions.. We also pray that Lord should raise many such sincere foster parents and friends and well wishers who have deep sense of love and compassion for these orphan and semi orphan children. We also thank all our other friends and well wishers who send us one time grant or onetime break fast, lunch, dinner or in kinds, provisions etc or small amounts often and regularly for the welfare of children. We are also trying for Government grant for the support of staff salary but we could not receive the same till today. The Government officials in Karnataka say that Government do not have adequate funds to release the grant. However we continue to approach them prayerfully. All the foster parents and friends who send the money is just adequate to meet only the basic expenses of children. In order to pay the salary of staff and meet the other needs of all children we had to raise separately by approaching people and well wishers individually. Therefore we request all of you to pray to God to meet these special needs of children as well as to pay all our staff members reasonably a good salary. Therefore this small Gerizim Rehabilitation Trust has its own difficulties to raise adequate funds and resources to meet the day to day basic needs. However we praise and thank our Almighty God Jesus Christ for all His mercies and miracles to run these programmes till today by faith and with your continued prayerfull support. This is the biggest miracle of our Lord that these programmes of Gerizim family is existing everyday by faith to continue our Lord's service among orphans, semi orphans, mentally retarded children, deserted women, widows and other multiple handicapped.

This service is meant for any child who desperately need residential care under Gerizim family. Therefore we request all who read these informations and needs are humbly requested to come forward without any prejudice to extend maximum help to these handicapped children and persons. Almighty God showered His abundant love and mercies on our families. Same way it is our duty and responsibility to give one tenth of our income to the poor and needy. This is the law of any religion and Almighty God to secure His full blessings in our families. Sacrificial giver receives earthly and eternal blessings of God for thousand generations. Your sincere help to these handicapped children, orphans and deserted woman will force God to bless your children with all blessings for several generations. We hope that you could understand as how under difficult and distressing situations we are continuing our services. Only by the grace of God, our steadfast faith and prayers of many friends we are able to survive and to extend the love of God under this stressful situations.

WHAT CAN YOU DO? HOW MUCH YOU CAN DO TO EXTEND THE LOVE OF GOD?

You can be a Prayer Partner in our various services and programmes.
You can become a Foster Parent for one or more of children. It would cost Rs.2000.00 per month (US $ 50) to support a Handicapped Child and Rs.1500.00 per month (US $ 40) to support a normal Child. for special school and hostel expenses.
You can participate by giving donations for any one of the above mentioned "Present Needs", either wholly or in part or support permanently for the different services of Gerizim Rehabilitation Trust. We also look for permanent supporters who can visit our programme and stay with us as part of Gerizim family and extend their prayerful support. Please write to us and be part of our Gerizim family.
You can donate provisions like rice, dhall, sugar, etc or new clothes, blankets, towels, bed sheets, underwear, soap both for washing and bathing, powder, oil etc.
